This kit HO scale kit represents one style of the many and varied Overhead Maintenance wagons used by the Victorian Railways during the early years of electrification through to the late 50’s and early 60’s. This particular style used underframes from “Tommy bent” I wagons with modified cut down H wagon bodies and roof platforms added. As this type did not have ladders (as far as we can establish from photos) they were used in a string of wagons with platform access obtained from other variations of other wagon types.
